Design History

I’ve always felt it was important to keep a history of past layouts. Without them, I wouldn’t have anything to reflect upon later! So here’s my slowly growing collection of growing Valkyrie.nu designs.

Version Two: Lebreau

I needed a fairly simple and quick layout to implement more content as well as a blog. So I whipped this layout up pretty quickly. This features Lebreau from Final Fantasy XIII and some pretty CSS. Hopefully it won’t remain online as long as the last version (which stayed up for a whole year).

Version One: Rosa and Cecil

The first layout of the domain features artwork of Rosa and Cecil from the FFIV DS Novelization. This image was scanned and provided to me by Paladin. You can see a larger version at Purity. The original linework was edited and cell shaded/colored by me. The screentone brush is from Golden Roses.
